Refund Policy for Digital Products

At the Australian Fashion Institute, we aim to deliver high-quality digital products and services. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be provided for purchases made through our website.

 

1. Digital Products and Services

Our digital products include, but are not limited to, online courses, eBooks, sewing patterns, and other downloadable or streamable content. Access is granted immediately upon successful payment.

2. Refunds for Digital Products

As a general rule, all sales of digital products are final. Due to the instant access provided, we do not offer refunds where:

  • The product has been downloaded or accessed in full.

  • You have changed your mind.

  • You are dissatisfied with the content after access has been granted.

  • The product was purchased as part of a bundle, promotion, or marked as "non-refundable".

3. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If a digital product is faulty, not as described, or fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or other remedy as required by law.

4. When Refunds May Be Granted

We will consider refund or credit requests under the following circumstances:

  • Faulty or Inaccessible Product :If your digital product is defective, corrupted, or cannot be accessed due to an error on our part, we will provide a replacement or issue a refund. You must notify us within 7 days of purchase.

  • Incorrect Purchase: If you purchased the wrong item (e.g., incorrect sewing pattern size), contact us within 7 days. We may offer a store credit, exchange, or alternative solution at our discretion.

5. How to Request a Refund or Exchange

To request a refund, exchange, or store credit, please contact us at hello@australianfi.com.au within 7 days of your purchase. Include the following:

  • Your order number

  • The name of the product

  • A description of the issue

  • Any relevant screenshots or documents

6. Processing Refunds

If a refund is approved, it will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow 7–10 business days for funds to appear, subject to your bank or payment provider's timelines.

7. Subscriptions

If you are subscribed to a membership or digital service on a recurring basis:

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings.

  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

  • No refunds will be issued for payments already processed.
